After 57 years of cooking I was burned out, but now that I found your recipes for the instant pot Iโm having so much fun. Cooking is an adventure again! Thank you.
ahhh thanks so much Dorothy I am glad to hear that.
Hi Karen. Australia here. Loving my instant pot.
Loving your recipes, mind you, I often need to
Google just what a particular ingredient is. Iโm learning how to improvise. Success so far. I am no longer scared of it. Cheap cuts of meat taste
awesome, curries, casseroles soups. I even cook
for my Rottweiler in it. He no complain.
Your site is amazing. I mainly need to look up the correct times to set it on & then off we go. I did find I was over cooking things so I have learnt to adapt the cook time to the cuts of meat.
Thankyou.
Thanks so much Judy! I’m so glad you are finding great ways to use your IP!
Hi Karen
I love all of your recipes, but wish you could put in your scale the recipe for 1/2 recipe. Now that there are only 2 of us I don’t need so much food in the frig. Thank You so much. Sherrie
Yes me too! I’m working with the recipe card developers to have that as an option! Hopefully soon
LOL, I usually double the recipes and there are just two of us also.
Im only one person i only cook recipes from Karen and from Six Sisters Stuff and what I do is half the recipe and it’s just enough fortwo people lunch or dinner it always turns out amazing.

Hi Shirley are you thinking of this one: https://www.365daysofcrockpot.com/recipe-for-slow-cooker-mexican-quinoa/
It looks really great. I want to do this. Thanks.
I have so much fun with the insta pot. love your sight and have tried your recipes and they are taste and easy to make. I have canned for 50+ years so no stranger to pressure cooking.. I wish I had bought the six quart cooker. Thank’s for all the work you do!
I had my InstaPot for two months before I attempted to use is. I scoured the internet for recipes that looked like something I and my family would like. I stumbled upon your site and have never left. I have made so many delectable dishes of your and shared the recipes and your site with others. I love that you include step by step directions for every dish. Your site gave me the confidence to use my pot. I thank you and so does my family!
Tortilla soup is easy and tastes awesome! I put all the ingredients in the Pot together, then remove the breasts when done and shred them with my hand mixer…. a saw that tip online as well. Itโs so much easier and faster than using two forks. Add the shredded meat back to soup and serve in bowls, top with cheese a side of chips and guac… YUM! Basically, itโs enchilada sauce, chicken, chicken broth, black beans, corn, canned diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro, spices, Once you get used to the IP, youโll know how to alter every recipe to work in the pot.
Thanks Marilyn, how nice to hear this!
I love all your content and I especially like the feature that lets you jump to the recipe
I love that too for quick access!
Hi Karen,
I Enjoy the Way you cook. For me it is often a complet new idea because i m a german(bavarian) girl. I found your Website last Year and i m still here. Cooking with you for my fam. I got my crocki Years ago for Christmas and i Would be Very Happy about the 6 quert Instant pot.
I would love the 6 quart instant pot. My husband has a regular pressure cooker with the jiggler on top that cooks on the stove. Itโs fairly new but would love for him to have an electric instant pot.
I use to have the pressure cooker with the rocker on top. I loved it. They are very dangerous. I am new at my instant pot but love it.
I just want to tell you how much I enjoy your site. I love the fact that you give instructions for the slow cooker for those of us that have not gotten on board with the Instapot trend (still not totally sold LOL). I love your pictures and want to ask if you take your own pictures or have someone do them for you?
Thanks Lisa! I do take my own pictures ๐
