Karen, I want to buy a PDF version of your book but, you only take credit card. Can I buy it using PayPal somewhere? And by the way, I would pay 50$ for such a book. (I’m from Montreal, Quebec, Canada).

        Karen ..
I hate trying to cook with a recipe on my phone or iPad! We get your daily recipe for the Instantpot and love them but I need to print them out to cook and I have a HUGE stack of them! I would love to have had a hard copy of your Cookbook … please reconsider another printing! I have thought about taking the online purchase book to Office Depot or like place to have printed out but I don’t think that is “legal” .. is this something I could do without any issues or unfairness to you?

Thanks in advance for your time, and for all the amazing recipes you send out way! BTW .. I watch your YouTube channel now too while folding clothes or any other jobs I can find close to the TV, you’re addictive!

I love your recipes. I copy your recipes and paste them into WORD’. I can add a picture of the recipe.
I then save as is into a folder in my documents called Recipes, I have different named folder categories for them.
I have been doing this for years. I can print them out if I need to.

Not sure if you’re able to help me or not but when I turn my instant pot on and set to a time, I double check it’s sealed yet everytime the countdown starts before the metal pressure notifier is up for pressurized. Is this normal or is mine possibly broken? If I do the countdown multiple times I can get it pressurized but it takes me doing it at least 2 or 3 times. Appreciate your advice.

Karen, your cookbook and your recipes has turned me into an Instapot addict! I absolutely love cooking in them. I started with the Instapot line with one of the Gem pots which was basically like the regular Instapots without the pressure cooker part. I used it almost every day and I needed to get a replacement pot, for it which I later learned, is not available. I chose to go with an Instapot. I bought a 3 quart, however I now own a 6-quart. I have two obstacles in my family, one being that it’s just two of us and the other is that we only eat beef and pork due to allergies with poultry and Seafood. Cooking becomes quite a challenge. I would love it if you came out with a recipe book for two people as I tend to waste quite a bit of food on a weekly basis and it drives me crazy LOL! Not only are your recipes fantastic your tips and tricks are great as well! You made it very easy for me to transfer to a pressure cooker Instapot. In my opinion, you are the QUEEN of Instapot cooking! Thank you so much!

How or what should I do if I wanted to use long grain white rice instead? I’ve made the switch a few times but then I’ll get a “burn” notice on my instapot. Any advice will be appreciated!

There is a cooking chart in the cookbook at the beginning that lists different types of rices and their cooking times and water to rice ratios. That should be helpful if deciding how to change the recipe up. You’ll want to make sure that the other items in the recipe will cook at the same rate as the rice though.

HI Karen, Thank you for your quick reply. I will wait until your Cookbook comes to Amazon, as did your other 3 cookbooks. I am a brand new Instant Pot use at 77 years old, so I need step by step instructions and advise from someone like you. Keep up the good work.

Hello, I don’t normally leave comments or reviews. However, I received my copy of your book last night and have already cooked two meals today (lunch and dinner). My wife and son are notoriously picky eaters, but I had no complaints today! The cheeseburger pasta was gone as fast as I could serve it. Thank you for making this recipe book and for getting it to me so quickly. Thank you for signing it as well that was a pleasant surprise.

I look forward to making more of your recipes!

Thank you Karen, Please let me know when a larger font is available. It’s not that I am blind! But I hate to wear reading glasses when I am cooking and have to bend over to read the page. When you print the book goes to press and is reduced to half page the font is reduced to 25%. Just too small. May I suggest to make your index without all CAPS, and darker print, it will also be easier to read. Love your work!
let me know when the font is larger, I will order one!

First, let me say that I love your cookbook. I have already had about a dozen meals from it. So, please don’t take these comments as criticism – just a couple of things I have missed. I am a 78 year old semi-cook who found his “legs” with the Instant Pot”., mostly through your website and boundless recipes.
    1. I really miss an Index. Even the Table of Contents is bare bones so I have to turn many pages to find what I want. For some reason this seems to be a failing in many cookbooks.
    2. Small type – especially the page numbers at the bottom. I need to use a magnifying glass to see where I am in the book.
Let me say again – I love your recipes. They are clear and concise and prolific. I doubt I will live long enough to try them all but I am going to give it a go until you come out with book II. Many thanks!!

So….I’ve made the Olive Garden Chicken Pasta several times…and we love it…but I wanted to try a variation…so instead if chicken I used 1lb ground beef browned with the baking soda hack to make it really brown and crispy…followed rest of recipe but at end added a large can of sliced mushrooms with the sundried tomatoes and skipped the parmesean cheese…it was absolutely AMAZING!!! Thank you for these recipes and the gumption to put our own spin on them. You have given my Instant Pot a more prominent place in my kitchen.

I just read about using baking soda to change the ph level of ground beef. You add just 1/4 tsp to 1lb. Mix with hands then let sit for 15 minutes. Brown as usual and see it just really brown and crisp up…and it loses very little moisture. I’m definitely do that from now on!!!

My Runzas story: I am an old geezer 89 years old My wife of 60 years passed away 11 years ago so i am the cook for one My mother came to the US in 1905 with her family. They were of German decent but they came from Russia This recipe was called Cabbage Pie in my family. It was made quite often. My grandmother taught it to my mom and she in turn taught it to my wife
I still can remember the wonderful smell in the house when I came home at the end of the day. Making Cabbage Pie was an all day effort They made the dough from scratch from yeast with all the risings The filling was always hamburger, cabbage and onions with salt and pepper They made it into loaves about 4 x7 I helped my wife roll out the dough but wasn’t very good at it Freshly made Cabbage pie was a treat What we didn’t eat fresh we froze and my wife would pack a pie in my lunch I just had to microwave it at work and enjoy
I still have the handwritten recipe card that my wife made I have tried making it several times but somehow the filling just wasn’t the same I tried making the dough with frozen roll dough it it was close but still not as good as the made from scratch but I have seen this called Bierocks in some areas But Cabbage Pie is is just darn good
I have had an instant pot for about a year and a half and use it just about every day and thanks to you and a few others it is a big part of my life I made cornbread today for supper

I know there are a couple of ways to prepare Instant Pot “Quinoa” by itself – in the main pot and pot-in-pot. I read that you can cook a complete Instant Pot meal including “Quinoa” using the pot-In-pot method as long as the cooking time is between 3 -6 minutes. What are you recommendations for cooking “Quinoa” as part of a complete meal?

You can also use the pot in pot method to make quinoa. Here is how you do pot in pot rice and it’s the same method for quinoa: https://www.365daysofcrockpot.com/how-to-make-pot-in-pot-rice/

The Instant Pot does have a slow cooker function on it. However, in my opinion, this is the one Achilles heel of the Instant Pot. The slow cooker function isnโ€™t great.

The slow cooker function works best if you get the pot hot before turning it down.
It only heats from the bottom. Regular slow cookers heat from the sides. You may need to stir every now and then.
Americaโ€™s Test Kitchen tested tons of brands of electric pressure cookers and instant faired poorly on the slow cooker. But what they did discover is you need to use it on high but treat it as low. So NEVER use low setting. If recipe calls for 8 hours on low, do 8 hours on high.

I primarily cook from my Paprika app, but will use cookbooks when the recipes aren’t readily available online. I really like your recipes, and wonder what I’m missing by not owning your cookbooks.

Can you tell me if many of the recipes in 365 Days, Slow-Cooker Fast, and 5-Ingredient aren’t on your blog? I would happily check them myself, but Amazon doesn’t have a “Look Inside” feature for your books. (insert sad emoji here)

I guess what I’m saying is that if you like what I post on my blog then you’d like the books. But if you’d rather cook from a electronic device then my website will suffice.
