I have a very strange problem that I don’t understand. For two years I have made hard cooked eggs using the 5-5-5 method with excellent results. Lately Every batch of eggs that I have cooked are difficult to peel and has a lot of the egg sticking to the shell. Suggestions or comments?
I have heard fresher eggs are harder to peel no matter your method, I try to use eggs I have had a week or more.
That is interesting. Try buying eggs and keeping them in your fridge for a week or two before cooking them. I always buy extra eggs when I go to the store and keep them in the back of my fridge.
Try replacing your silicone sealing ring.
