Instant Pot and Slow Cooker Recipe Ideas for your Get-Together
“I have to go to a bible study and take a main dish. What would you suggest?” I love when I get questions like this in my email inbox. It makes me feel like I’m helping you plan your event and it’s touching that you trust me enough to ask my opinion. Many times when I receive a question I ask my 365 Days Facebook group. What a great group of Instant Pot lovers. Here are some of their suggestions as well as some of my own!
Cajun Sausage Potatoes and Green Beans
Colleen and Renee both suggested this 365 Days favorite. It’s a quick and easy one pot meal of cajun-style andouille sausage, quartered red potatoes, fresh green beans and sliced mushrooms. Drizzle the buttery broth over the potatoes for maximum flavor.

BBQ Beef Sandwiches
Beth said, ” I would take this and some chips.” It’s tender shredded beef with an easy homemade barbecue sauce served on a toasted bun. An easy and delicious dinner!

Instant Pot No Peek Chicken
Chris said, “If you want no fuss style of meal I’d go with No Peek Chicken.” It’s that easy 3-ingredient chicken and rice recipe from your childhood that has cream of mushroom soup in it. Only this time it’s made in your Instant Pot.

Chicken Spaghetti
Sue suggested chicken spaghetti. It’s creamy spaghetti with shredded chicken blasted with tons of flavor from seasonings and a can of Rotel.

Chicken Salad with Grapes
Diana said, ” Chicken salad with grapes and apples in it. Bread and crackers.” Chicken is pressure cooked or slow cooked and then tossed with the best chicken salad dressing to make a fantastic topping for a bed of lettuce, a bun or croissant.

Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Rice Casserole
Kathy suggested chicken rice casserole, ” Winner winner chicken dinner. Everyone loves this one!”

White Chicken Chili
I love to bring this one to church parties! It’s always eaten up with no leftovers. It’s an indulgent white chili recipe with green chiles, onion, chicken breasts, and white beans (dried or canned).

Homemade Hamburger Helper
This one is always a crowd favorite! With just a little more effort than making a boxed meal you can have a homemade creamy tomato basil beef pasta meal.

Cabbage Roll Soup
This new recipe is an easy way to enjoy all the flavors of cabbage rolls with a fraction of the effort!

Cafe Rio Sweet Pork
Make this sweet pork and serve it on buns with a side of coleslaw. It serves a crowd and is easy peasy.

Party Meatballs
With only 3 ingredients and the use of your Instant Pot they literally take 3 minutes of hands-on time. They are super flavorful with a little bit of savory and a little bit of sweetness. You could serve these with baked potatoes or mashed potatoes.

Smoked Sausage Country Boil
A one pot meal with tender red potatoes, sweet corn, fresh green beans and smoked sausage.

Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya
A fast, easy, healthier, non-spicy version of jambalaya. It has so much flavor, you’re going to love it!

What Pressure Cooker Do You Use?
I use a 6 quart Instant Pot Duo 60 7 in 1*. I love this Instant Pot because it has the yogurt making function which I use almost weekly. It has two pressure settings (high and low), and there are also little slots in the handles so that you can rest the lid there instead of putting it down on your counter-top.
