A few days ago I posted the most popular instant pot and slow cooker recipes from the past year. Today I’m going to share my personal favorites from 2018. Although these recipes might not be pinned a million times or shared 1000 times on Facebook they are very popular in my household and I make them often. Maybe you’ll like them too? Which recipes have been your favorites?

Pin this for later!

My top 15 Instant Pot recipes of 2018

In no particular order here are my favorites from the past year. If there is a slow cooker version I also added that link!

Instant Pot (or Slow Cooker) Tuscan Tortellini Soup is a creamy tomato based soup with white beans, tortellini, spinach and tender bites of chicken. Take one bite of this soup and youโ€™ll quickly agree that this soup rocks the house.

Instant Pot (or slow cooker) Chicken Alfredo Tortellini Soupโ€“A creamy tortellini soup with chicken, vegetables and parmesan cheese. If you love chicken alfredo youโ€™ll love this soup! P

Instant Pot Homemade Hamburger Helperโ€“with just a little more effort than making a boxed meal you can have a homemade creamy tomato basil beef pasta meal. And with the help of your Instant Pot it takes just a few minutes.

Instant Pot (or slow cooker) Creamy Chicken Tortilla Soupโ€“an easy dump and go soup recipe that you can make in minutes in your electric pressure cooker.

Instant Pot Creamy Turkey Spinach Penneโ€“saucy penne pasta with ground turkey, tomatoes, green chiles, cumin, cream cheese and spinach. A perfect family friendly weeknight meal. Make it fast in your electric pressure cooker.

Instant Pot (or slow cooker) Cajun Sausage, Potatoes and Green Beansโ€“a quick and easy one pot meal of cajun-style andouille sausage, quartered red potatoes, fresh green beans and sliced mushrooms. Drizzle the buttery broth over the potatoes for maximum flavor.

Instant Pot (or slow cooker) Lemon Chicken Meatball Wraps with Spicy Garlic Sauceโ€“flavorful lemon chicken meatballs are served rolled up in flatbread with lettuce, tomato and a sour cream/mayo mixture with lots of garlic and sriracha flavor. A perfect summer meal!

Instant Pot (or slow cooker) Creamy Greek Chicken Pitasโ€“a very fast and easy recipe with just a handful of ingredients that tastes absolutely amazing! Cream cheese is stirred into shredded chicken with Greek seasonings and lemon juice and then served on pita bread and topped with tomatoes and cucumbers. A simple family friendly meal that everyone will love.

Instant Pot (or slow cooker) Tortellini Soup with Parmesan, Chicken Sausage and Mushrooms needs to make its place on your menu this week. My husband said โ€œthis is maybe the best soup Iโ€™ve ever had!โ€ Itโ€™s slightly creamy (but doesnโ€™t go overboard with dairy) and has amazing flavor thanks to the chicken sausage. It also has a nice pop of color from the chopped spinach. This soup can be made in minutes with your electric pressure cooker.

Instant Pot Sausage Gravyโ€“country style gravy made with ground sausage and diced bacon is infused with flavors as it is quickly pressure cooked. When served over freshly baked biscuits (homemade or from a can) it tastes like a good old fashioned southern breakfast (although we eat this often for dinner).

Instant Pot Chicken Spaghettiโ€“creamy spaghetti with shredded chicken blasted with tons of flavor from seasonings and a can of Rotel. An easy weeknight dinner that your whole family will love. Make it quickly in your electric pressure cooker.

Instant Pot (or slow cooker) Cheeseburger Soupโ€“creamy and cheesy soup that is made so fast in your electric pressure cooker. Serve it with diced up dill pickle and tomatoes to get that authentic cheeseburger taste. Add crumbled bacon for bacon cheeseburger soup! Miss the bun? Make homemade croutons out of a toasted sesame seed bun to get the total effect. Bottom lineโ€ฆyou need to make this today!

Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs Recipeโ€“easy to peel hard boiled eggs without the gray ring around the yolk, made in your pressure cooker.

My family’s choices

Cooking wouldn’t be fun if I didn’t have my family to cook for! They are my friends and I’m so grateful for them. I asked them what their favorite recipes were this year. Here’s what they said…

My 13 year old daughter chose Instant Pot Chicken Alfredo Meatballs as her favorite recipe.

My 10 year old son chose Instant Pot BBQ Bacon Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes as his favorite recipe.

My husband chose the meatloaf, cream cheese chicken, Italian tortellini soup and garlic parmesan chicken as his favorites. He couldn’t choose just one!

What Pressure Cooker Do You Use?

I use a 6 quart Instant Pot Duo 60 7 in 1*. I love this Instant Pot because it has the yogurt making function which I use almost weekly.  It has two pressure settings (high and low), and there are also little slots in the handles so that you can rest the lid there instead of putting it down on your counter-top.

Love your recipes. What I like most is you use very few, if any, processed food and the recipes do not have a ton of ingredients. They are easy and delicious. Iโ€™m so happy I found you. Thank you.
