I’d love to see some that don’t have cheese, cream cheese, etc. But I get it’s a midwest thing too! 🙂

Do you get kickbacks from the dairy and meat industries? These may be yummy, but HEALTHY? Not so much. My heart skipped a beat with each one.

Thanks. The recipe is one Katie Lee made on the Kitchen a couple weeks ago. It sounds like Thanksgiving in a loaf.

We use “riced” cauliflower instead of actual rice. How should we reduce the amount of liquid in those recipes?

I would reduce the liquid to the least amount of liquid possible for your pressure cooker to reach pressure since the cauliflower rice won’t really absorb much or any or the water.

I tried to count to 17 but kept losing track when scrolling – partly because I was drooling over the photos – so am curious which are your two faves.

Sadly, it seems that most/many super quick IP casserole recipes use cream-of-something soup or lots of cheese or yogurt, and being lactose intolerant, have to skip so many that look great. A little hard cheese is fine with Lactaid Fast Act pills, but not too much.

I think every recipe above except for one said melts cheese, cheesy, creamy, etc. in it. But I’ll try that one – and do love quite a few of your other recipes. I just wish some super speedy/few ingredient ones would work too.

Also curious if you had looked into allowing email notifications if comments are responded to. You had said you’d look into it but I don’t remember which recipe that was in so missed it if you responded.

Oh shoot, I had looked into the email responder and I got overwhelmed and forgot about it. I need to go back and look at it. What I need to do is just hire a techy person for tasks such as these.
And you’re right about casseroles. They really do usually have cheese or cream in them.
I need to work on updating this tag but here are a few dairy free recipes from my site: https://www.365daysofcrockpot.com/tag/dairy-free/

Oops, meant to response about the casseroles. By the way I wasn’t implying it was just your casseroles. That’s just how most are made! Thanks for the dairy free ones.

I can eat some dairy – just depends on the type and how much. I make your egg bites with cheese, for example. For some of us who are lactose intolerant, it’s not just the lactose. There is something else in dairy that can cause problems even if the lactose is removed by using lactose free milk/sour cream/half-and-half, etc. A bit of a mystery that probably will be solved one of these days.

Okay Beth, I added the option to click “notify me via email if anyone answers my comment.” Make sure when these notifications come that they don’t go to your spam folder. This happened for me when I tested it with my gmail account. Once you mark that it is not spam you should get future notifications without any problems.

Jim Bob says Howdy: Thank you for all of the pot-in-pot heads up recipes, I’ve tried almost all of these on this top 20 list and I am really glad you have placed them conveniently all on one list. The Cowboy recipe I had to make it while we were eating it, they (the four of us) liked it so much. Everybody also liked the Shepherds Pie recipe and Tamale casserole recipe. Thank you very much, I am a true fan. Jim Bob
