Slow Cooker Sausage Pepperoni Spinach Ravioli
My kids love stuff like this. Lucky for me, it is super easy to make. All you have to do is brown some sausage, add in raviolis and sauce to the slow cooker and let it do its thing for a few hours. Come back to a delicious, flavorful dinner. If I’m not home my slow cooker switches over to warm and will stay good until we’re ready to eat dinner. Add the ingredients for slow cooker sausage pepperoni spinach ravioli to your shopping list this week!
A few notes about the recipe:
Italian sausage: I used a ground mild Italian sausage but if you like it spicy you could opt for hot sausage.
Ravioli: I used a package of frozen ravioli but you could also use a package of fresh ravioli.
Sauce: I used a can of marinara spaghetti sauce. You could get fancy and use a jar of sun dried tomato alfredo or tomato basil sauce or anything that catches your eye in the pasta aisle.
Pepperonis: I used half a package of pepperonis and cut them into quarters. You could also buy a package of the mini pepperonis.
Spinach: I ran out of fresh spinach so I just used a bit of frozen spinach. I just stirred it in and it worked great.

What Slow Cooker Did You Use?
For Slow Cooker Sausage Pepperoni Spinach Ravioli I used my 6 quart oval Kitchenaid slow cooker.* I love this slow cooker (you can see me talking about it in a video here). It cooks low and evenly. I love the medium heat choice because most slow cookers that I’ve seen only have the option of cooking on low or high. If you’re going to buy just one slow cooker, this is the one that I recommend.

If I want to double the recipe do I cook it longer or the same amount of time that’s directed in this recipe? Thanks in advance!

Same time should work!
I see that the Instant pot has a slow cooker feature. Have you ever used it? I’m wondering if that would be an option. Thanks. (Love your recipes!)

The Instant Pot slow cooker function isn’t great. The heat comes from the bottom of the pot and doesn’t cook as evenly as a traditional crockpot where the heat comes from the sides. If you do use the IP as a slow cooker you’ll want to use the highest setting to cook or the middle setting. the lowest setting is equivalent to keep warm.
This looks great, and I am going to try it soon.

I hope you like it as much as we did! I only had a couple of the raviolis before the rest of the family beat me to the rest!
Is this recipe supposed to be cooked on high setting instead? All of my ravioli’s clumped together and after 2 hours on low setting it doesn’t look like it will be done cooking anytime soon.
Argh. I’m sorry Amber. All slow cookers cook so differently. What size slow cooker are you using? Pump up the heat to high and it should be done soon.
