Garlic Mac and Cheese Sandwich—white cheddar macaroni and cheese is sandwiched between Texas toast bread and then slathered with garlic butter and grilled until toasty.

Garlic Mac and Cheese Sandwich
Looking for something to eat that’s out of this world? Try a mac and cheese grilled cheese sandwich. Even typing that out made me giggle a little. It seems so extravagant and over the top. My kids thought they had died and gone to heaven. “Here’s some mac and cheese and grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner! Come and get it!”
For this recipe you start by making white cheddar macaroni and cheese in the Instant Pot. It’s such an easy way to make mac and cheese you may never go back to the stove top again.
Next, you’ll butter up the outside portion of some Texas toast bread. The butter is key because it’s softened and and stirred together with some garlic powder. It brings the grilled cheese to a whole new level. Scoop a large spoonful of macaroni and cheese in between the two buttered bread pieces and then grill up until brown and toasty.
You may want to eat this the night before you run a marathon so you can carb load to the max 🤣
