All fathers want to eat good food on their special day. Am I right? Here are some delicious Fathers Day menu ideas picked by my husband, Greg.

Fathers Day Instant Pot Recipes
If you’re planning a meal for the dads in your life this Sunday you may want to include some of these dishes. These were hand-picked by my husband, Greg. He is an amazing father and anything our kids do well is because of him. I would be lost as a parent without him. If I had asked my dad what he wanted to eat on Fathers Day he would have said something like, “we can just eat leftovers.” He is the least fussy person I know when it comes to food. But he does get excessively happy about tapioca pudding…weird.
The Meats
Greg says that “men love meat.” So start there! Luckily the Instant Pot truly makes cooking meat sooooo easy.
Smoky Pulled Pork— if you love pulled pork and you love a smoked flavor on your meat but you don’t have hours to spend you’re going to love this easy pressure cooker smoky shredded pork. Greg loves this pulled pork with Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce.

Ribs—the easiest to make fall off the bone ribs made with a homemade Kansas City style rub and simple barbecue sauce. Greg eats these ribs like candy 🙂

Sausage Gravy and Biscuits— country style gravy made with ground sausage and diced bacon is infused with flavors as it is quickly pressure cooked. Greg licks his plate when I make this!

Instant Pot Meat Lovers Soup—if you’re a fan of all the meats you’re going to love this hearty soup. With meatballs, smoked sausage, brats, bacon, pepperoni and ground beef there is literally meat in every single bite. Greg says “even though it’s summer this soup should make the menu!”

The Other Stuff
Cheddar Bacon Mashed Potatoes—creamy mashed potatoes with grated cheddar and bits of bacon made easy in your electric pressure cooker. Greg says that “bacon makes everything taste better.”

Garlic Butter Corn on the Cob–sweet corn is slathered with minced fresh garlic, butter, salt and pepper. The easiest and tastiest corn on the cob! You’ll never go back boiling corn on the stove again. Greg didn’t say why he added this one to the dream menu but I suppose it’s because it’s good to throw a vegetable in the mix 😉

Peach Cobbler— fresh peaches, a cake mix and butter are all you need for this simple but totally delicious recipe. Greg says, “don’t forget the vanilla ice cream!”

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there! Enjoy the day, your family and the food.
What Pressure Cooker Do You Use?
I typically use a 6 quart Instant Pot Duo 60 7 in 1*. I love this Instant Pot because it has the yogurt making function which I use almost weekly. It has two pressure settings (high and low), and there are also little slots in the handles so that you can rest the lid there instead of putting it down on your counter-top.
