Slow Cooker Mississippi Kielbasa–an easy slow cooker dinner made with smoked sausage, ranch seasoning, au jus, butter and banana peppers for a savory meal that’s perfect served over noodles.

Slow Cooker Mississippi Kielbasa

If you like the flavors of Mississippi roast you’ll love this dinner too. This easy 5 ingredient dump and go slow cooker recipe can be put together in just 10 minutes. It’s savory and salty and perfect over egg noodles. Try stirring in a tablespoon of sour cream into your portion for a creamy element. You can easily double this recipe to feed more mouths.

Ingredients/Substitution Ideas

  • Kielbasa–or beef smoked sausage, turkey smoked sausage
  • Water
  • Brown gravy mix–or au jus mix
  • Dry ranch dressing mix–I use Hidden Valley brand
  • Butter
  • Banana pepper rings–or mild pepperoncini rings

Steps

Slice sausage into ½ inch slices. Add to the slow cooker.

Pour in the water, au jus, ranch, butter and banana peppers and stir.

Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.

Stir and serve over hot cooked egg noodles or rice.

Notes/Tips

  • Serve over egg noodles, white rice, mashed potatoes or even cauliflower rice.
  • Try adding in sliced or chopped mushrooms when you add everything into the slow cooker.
  • Try adding in frozen peas at the end and warm through.
  • I used my 4 quart Instant Pot* on the slow cook setting.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container* in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. You can freeze leftovers for up to 3 months.
