Slow Cooker Mississippi Kielbasa
If you like the flavors of Mississippi roast you’ll love this dinner too. This easy 5 ingredient dump and go slow cooker recipe can be put together in just 10 minutes. It’s savory and salty and perfect over egg noodles. Try stirring in a tablespoon of sour cream into your portion for a creamy element. You can easily double this recipe to feed more mouths.
Ingredients/Substitution Ideas
- Kielbasa–or beef smoked sausage, turkey smoked sausage
- Water
- Brown gravy mix–or au jus mix
- Dry ranch dressing mix–I use Hidden Valley brand
- Butter
- Banana pepper rings–or mild pepperoncini rings
Steps
Slice sausage into ½ inch slices. Add to the slow cooker.

Pour in the water, au jus, ranch, butter and banana peppers and stir.


Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.

Stir and serve over hot cooked egg noodles or rice.

Notes/Tips
- Serve over egg noodles, white rice, mashed potatoes or even cauliflower rice.
- Try adding in sliced or chopped mushrooms when you add everything into the slow cooker.
- Try adding in frozen peas at the end and warm through.
- I used my 4 quart Instant Pot* on the slow cook setting.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container* in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. You can freeze leftovers for up to 3 months.

- 1 Tbsp brown gravy mix or au jus mix
- 1 Tbsp dry ranch dressing mix
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup mild pepper banana pepper rings
