Serves 4

1 1/2 lbs pot roast (mine was a cross rib roast)
1/4 cup Sprite or 7-up
1/2 of package of onion soup mix
1 (10.75 oz) can of cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup sour cream
sliced mushrooms, as many as desired

Combine roast, soda, cream of mushroom soup and onion soup mix in slow cooker.  Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours.  Add in the mushrooms and sour cream and stir.  Warm for another 15 minutes and serve over rice or noodles.

Review:
Another easy, yummy stroganoff recipe.  I’m not sure why, but I’m such a fan of this type of meal.  I’ve probably made about 7 of these types of recipes in the past.  This one was pretty good,  if you’d like it more creamy and fat filled add in some cream cheese.  Yummy!  3 1/2 stars

Some chopped parsley or sliced green onions sprinkled on top would do a lot when it comes to presentation.

Congrats on your success BTW! Getting your book on Amazon should be a nice boost too

    Thanks for a useful blog.

I will probably going to an off-shift soon so using the slow cooker is going to make a lot of sense for my wife and I.
