America's Test Kitchen Slow Cooker Cookbook Giveaway!

A few weeks ago a representative from America's Test Kitchen contacted me and asked if I would like to do a giveaway for their brand new slow cooker cookbook.  I of course said yes.  For you and for me.  I am so excited about this book.  First off, if you aren't familiar with America's Test Kitchen let me tell you a little about it.  It is a show on PBS.  Basically they try some of America's favorite foods and test it 30, 40, or even 50 times to see how to perfect the recipe using science and a lot of taste testing.  (p.s. if anyone from ATK is reading this, I'd love a taste tester job there, okay thanks bye).  My blog is a tiny microcosm of what they do there.  I'm sure that ALL of the recipes in this book will be rated 5 stars.  I mean how could they not be, having been tested that many times?  Later this week I will be posting and reviewing a recipe from their book...so stay tuned!

So, does this book sound like something you would like to own??? (um, yeah)

To enter the giveaway, leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite slow cooker dish.  Want to enter a second time?  Like 365 Days of Slow Cooking on facebook.  How about a third time?  Like America's Test Kitchen on facebook

The Rules: Up to three entries per person, U.S. residents only. Commenting will close on Friday February 18th at 12:00 pm.  Entries that do not follow the entry requirements will not be considered. One winner will be chosen at random and announced next week. Good luck!

Disclosure: I received a free copy of The America’s Test Kitchen Slow Cooker Revolution Cookbook in exchange for hosting this review and giveaway. Though this review was sponsored, all of the opinions expressed above are mine alone.

I love slow cooking. I own three slow cookers and I use them at least 2-3 times per week. If I can make it in a slow cooker, thats how it gets done. I would love some new recipes to try and this would be a great addition!

  179. The ATK/Cook's Illustrated recipe for pork pot roast is amazing. Have made it many, many times. Even bought the slow-cooker they tested and most recommended. I am addicted to all things ATK and Cook's and have 8 of their books already. The books make fantastic gifts too -- I've bought at least another 15 copies of various books for friends and family and now they're all addicted too.

  181. Not a big crockpot user user bc I am not confident that dinner will be good. I have a lot of faith in ATK/Cook's Illustrated & will be trying their various slow cooker recipes soon.
