Sausage, Chicken and Peppers: 50
Lyndee tried these two recipes and said that the Sausage, Chicken and Peppers, “This recipe was easy to prepare and smelled great! The only thing that was tough for my family
is we felt it needed to “be something” maybe a taco filling or something not
just an entrée by itself. Over all the Value was great and didn’t cost much to make I
pretty much had everything in my cupboard. Not too much of a hit though.” She picked the chicken and stuffing as the winner and gave it a high 90 points. She said, “This one was a favorite, definitely a comfort food. We have
made something similar to this in the oven but the slow cooker version was so
much better and will never do it in the oven again! Once again the value was great I had everything we needed
and didn’t even have to go shopping. This is our favorite out of these recipes and it wins by a
land slide!”
Next we’ll take a look at the chicken rio salad versus the chicken and broccoli pasta.

Chicken Rio Salad |
Nichole tried out these chicken dishes and said that the chicken rio salad was “very easy to put together. It was done in just over 3 hours. The chicken doesn’t have too strong of a flavor but on a salad with the yummy ranch dressing, it was great! I can see me making this in big batches to have on hand when I need cooked chicken for other recipes. You can’t beat the value, either.. About $2 a serving.”

Chicken Broccoli Pasta |
“The chicken broccoli pasta recipe required more prep and more steps, but turned out great! I loved the flavor of the chicken and the sauce was perfect on the pasta. The addition of the tomato and broccoli made if fresh and delicious. I happened to have white wine vinegar on hand, so I didn’t have to buy too many random ingredients. I will make this dish again for sure.” Chicken Broccoli Pasta takes the game by only 2 points in a nail-biter! The stuffing will take on the pasta next round…stay tuned.
