1 1/2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp vinegar
1 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp pepper
3 lb boneless pork loin roast, halved
2 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch
3 Tbsp cold water
Combine apple cider, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, garlic powder, and pepper in greased slow cooker. Add roast. Turn to coat. Cover and cook on LOW 7-8 hours. Remove roast and keep warm. In saucepan, combine cornstarch and cold water until smooth. Stir in juices from roast and bring to boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes, or until thickened. Serve with roast. Makes 8 servings.
Review:
My friend, Heidi sent me this recipe and I’m glad she did because it was great. This is my favorite pork roast that I have tried so far, by far. The flavor was great, and the sauce was perfect. Pork roasts can be found on sale for pretty inexpensive. This is a great Sunday dinner to feed a big family. Loved it and definitely will be having it again (when the year is over, of course). 4 stars.
My family loved this.
We LOVED this!
Yay, I'm so glad you liked it!! ๐
