1 lb hamburger, browned
1 large onion, chopped (I left this out)
1 (10 3/4 oz) can vegetable soup
1 (10 3/4 oz) can tomato soup
1 can (16 oz) kidney beans, do not drain
2 cans Mexican flavored stewed tomatoes (I used diced tomatoes)
1 cup salsa
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp taco seasoning
1/2 cup water (I left this out)
Combine ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on low for 4 hours or until it is heated through and flavors can blend. Serve with tortillas chips or corn chips, shredded cheese, and sour cream.
Review:
This is a little bit of a different taco soup than I’ve tried in the past, but actually pretty good. My daughter appreciated the vegetable soup that had the alphabet in it. The other taco soup that I did is equally as tasty and has very simple ingredients so I will probably stick with that recipe in the future. 3 stars.
