Description

Biscuit, sausage and egg casserole with cheese. The most delicious breakfast!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 pound Jimmy Dean sausage
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 8 ounce can of pillsbury biscuits
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350° F. Spray a 9×9 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Use kitchen shears to cut each biscuit into four pieces. Place the biscuits evenly into bottom of baking dish. Bake for 8 minutes (they won’t be fully cooked).
  2. Heat a pan over medium high heat. Add in the sausage and break it up. Add in the onion. Brown for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle the sausage and onions over the biscuit pieces.
  3. In a bowl whisk together the eggs, milk and salt and pepper to taste. Pour the mixture over the top of the biscuit pieces and sausage.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes. Sprinkle the cheese on top and bake for 5 more minutes.
  5. Slice, serve and enjoy! 

Notes

You can easily double this recipe. Use a 9×13 inch pan and bake for same times listed above.
