Description
The ultimate overnight breakfast casserole! It’s easy to make and with sausage, tater tots, eggs and cheese it’s tasty to eat.

- 12 oz tater tots
- 6 oz cooked sausage links, cut each into 4 pieces
- 1 cup shredded cheddar monterey jack blend
- 4 eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/3 cup pace picante sauce
Instructions
Oven Instructions:
- Spray a 9×9 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Layer tater tots in bottom of pan. Add sausage evenly over the top of tots. Then sprinkle cheese evenly over the top.
- In a bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, sour cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and picante sauce. Pour the mixture over the top.
- Cover the pan with foil and refrigerate overnight.
- Heat oven to 350° F. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for 25 more minutes.
- Let sit for 5 minutes, slice and serve.
Slow Cooker Instructions:
- Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
- Layer tater tots in bottom. Add sausage evenly over the top of tots. Then sprinkle cheese evenly over the top.
- In a bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, sour cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and picante sauce. Pour the mixture over the top.
- Cover slow cooker and refrigerate overnight.
- Cook on high for 2-3 hours.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
You don’t have to refrigerate overnight. You can bake immediately but you’ll want to only bake for 20 minutes, remove foil and bake for 20 more minutes.
