Description
An easy Instant Pot pasta dish featuring sausage, green pepper, corn and cheddar.
Ingredients

- 1/2 pound ground sausage
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 4 ounces rotini
- 1 (15 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup frozen sweet corn
- 1/2 cup diced green pepper
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the sausage and break it up. Add in the onion and brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease.
- Stir in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Sprinkle in the rotini. Dump in the tomatoes, corn, green pepper, Italian seasoning, onion powder and garlic powder.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 3 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5-10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Stir. Sprinkle the cheese on top and let it melt. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
If you love olives add in a small can of sliced olives.
