Description
Tender beef, onions, garlic and au jus gravy for a simple dump-and-go dinner that’s perfect served over mashed potatoes or egg noodles.

- 1 1/2 pounds beef top round steak (mine were thin cut)
- 1 small onion, halved and sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 oz packet Au Jus or brown gravy mix
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Place half of the sliced onions and half of the minced garlic into the bottom of slow cooker.
- Top the onions with the round steak.
- Place the remaining onions and garlic on top. Sprinkle the au jus dry mix on top and then pour in the water.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
- Shred meat with a fork right inside the slow cooker. Spoon meat mixture over the top of mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
