Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (12 oz) package of fresh blackberries, washed and patted dry

- 1/4 cup butter
Instructions
- Spray the bottom of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Add the blackberries to the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl use a pastry blender to cut the butter into the cake mix until it is crumbly.
- Spread the cake mix mixture over the blackberries.
- Place a double layer of paper towels over the top of the slow cooker and secure them with the lid.
- Cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours or on LOW for about 4 hours.
- Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Notes
If you use a smaller slow cooker, like a 3 quart*, it will take a longer (3 hours on high) than if you use a 6 quart slow cooker* (2 hours on high).
