Description

Beef ramen bowls might look plain but there is tons of flavor in this easy-to-make Instant Pot dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 3 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 packages ramen noodles seasoning packets discarded
  • Green onions, for topping
  • Sriracha sauce, for topping

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the ground beef and break it up. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the garlic, ginger and salt.
  2. Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
  3. Add in the soy sauce, vinegar, lime juice, pepper and ramen noodles.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 0 (zero) minutes. When the time is up move valve to venting and remove the lid. Stir well.
  5. Scoop into bowls and top with green onions and a few drops of sriracha sauce.
