Description

A cozy ham, peas, cheese and noodles dish made easily in your Instant Pot or slow cooker.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1 (12 oz) bag Reames frozen egg noodles
  • 1 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 12 oz ham steak, cut into cubes
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

Instant Pot Instructions:

  1. Pour broth into Instant Pot. Sprinkle in the poultry seasoning. Sprinkle in the noodles. Add in ketchup, butter and ham on top.
  2. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set manual/pressure cook button to 8 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5-10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
  3. Stir in the milk, peas and cheddar. Put the lid back on the Instant Pot and let it warm through the peas and melt the cheese for 5 more minutes (just on the keep warm setting). 
  4. Serve and enjoy!

Slow Cooker Instructions:

  1. Add broth, poultry seasoning, noodles, ketchup, butter and ham into slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour. 
  3. Stir in the milk, peas and cheddar. Put the lid back on and let cook for another 15-20 minutes.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
