Marla was on the sidelines of this game.  Marla, what do you have for us?

Stuffed Shells Notes:
Prep time-I tried to brown the sausage and cook the noodles at the same time. It was a VERY BUSY at the stove! Slow cooker recipies that require soo many steps-I have a hard time with. I am okay with mixing, stirring, or chopping, but browing sausage and cooking noodles is more than I am use too. For me, its just as much work as a regular dinner.

Likeliness- We don’t eat sausage too much-no reason for paticular. That brought the likeliness score down. It tasted too much like lasagna, so why not make lasagna? Maybe we like lasagna too much….but only our mom’s lasagna.

Overall-It was good. My 4 kids, husband and I tried it. Husband & I ate seconds. It was okay for the kids.

Value-I had to buy a few ingredients. Sausage, ricotta cheese, and shells are things I usually do not have on hand- It is a nice meal. I forgot to serve it with bread. How can you eat italian food without bread!

Peach Crisp Notes:
I used a 16 oz bag of frozen peaches. Per bag instructions, I thawed them in the microwave.

Prep time-SIMPLE-EASY.

Likeliness-I’ve had Peach cobble from the dutch oven and that taste can’t be replaced or duplicated. My husband isn’t much of a dessert eater, so my desire to make desserts is low. I also ate this at 9:45 pm with cool whip—I know-not vanilla ice cream. So maybe those two factors would increase the score.

Overall flavor-I want a crispier crisp but it tasted well.

Value-Frozen peaches were the only thing I needed to buy. So not an expensive dessert. Simple and quick to serve with company after a yummy dinner.

Cinderalla PEACH CRISP—-

Who was expecting the peach crisp to beat out an italian classic? Peach crisp played a clean, simple game to out score the stuffed shells. It was a close game!

(I didn’t know the score until after I wrote the review and added the points. I was surprised the peach crisp won)
