Description
Rice, cabbage and Italian sausage make a fast and easy Instant Pot dinner when you’re on the go!
Ingredients

- 1/2 pound Italian sausage
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup converted or long grain white rice
- Dash of hot sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 cups chopped or shredded cabbage
- 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded colby jack cheese
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the sausage and break it up. Add in the onion. Brown for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Sprinkle in the rice. Add in the hot sauce. Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, cabbage and marinara sauce. Don’t stir.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 5 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Stir. Sprinkle with cheese. Serve and enjoy!
