Description

A tater tot casserole with savory ground beef, green beans, and a creamy soup-sour cream mix, all topped with crispy golden tots and melted cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of celery, cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups frozen green beans
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 16 ounces tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat oven 425° F. Heat a large oven safe pan over medium high heat. Add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onions. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain excess grease. Stir in the garlic, salt, pepper and toss for another minute.
  2. Turn heat to low. Stir in the soup, green beans and sour cream. Smooth out. Add tots evenly on the top.
  3. Bake for 25 minutes, or until tots are crispy and golden brown. Sprinkle the cheese on top and bake for another 3 minutes.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
