Description
A tater tot casserole with savory ground beef, green beans, and a creamy soup-sour cream mix, all topped with crispy golden tots and melted cheddar cheese.

- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of celery, cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups frozen green beans
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 16 ounces tater tots
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Heat oven 425° F. Heat a large oven safe pan over medium high heat. Add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onions. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain excess grease. Stir in the garlic, salt, pepper and toss for another minute.
- Turn heat to low. Stir in the soup, green beans and sour cream. Smooth out. Add tots evenly on the top.
- Bake for 25 minutes, or until tots are crispy and golden brown. Sprinkle the cheese on top and bake for another 3 minutes.
