Description
A creamy, cheesy one-pot dinner made with sausage, Arborio rice, bacon, green onions and crunchy almonds for an easy family-friendly meal.

- 16 oz ground sausage
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup arborio rice
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp hot sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup bacon crumbles
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to sauté setting. When display says HOT add in the sausage and break it up. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease.
- Pour in the water and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Sprinkle in the rice. Then add in the cream of chicken soup, onion powder, garlic powder and hot sauce.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set manual/pressure cook button to 5 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5-10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Stir in the sour cream, green onions, sliced almonds, bacon and cheddar.
- Serve and enjoy!
