Description

A copycat recipe of Hotel Nauvoo’s wild rice dressing, a creamy rice dish with only 6 ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/4 cups water
  • 1 (6.9 oz) box of BEN’S ORIGINAL™ Long Grain & Wild Rice
  • 2 cups chopped, cooked chicken
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken gravy
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1 cup panko or bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Pour water into Instant Pot. Sprinkle in the rice and seasoning mix.
  2. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 3 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid. (If you don’t have an Instant Pot just make the rice on the stovetop according to package directions).
  3. Stir in the chicken, cream of mushroom soup and gravy.
  4. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Scrape the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. In a small bowl stir together melted butter and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs on top of the casserole.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
