Description
Italian sausage with spaghetti, mushrooms, roasted garlic sauce and mozzarella cheese.

- 1/2 pound Italian sausage
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp dried onion
- 2 cups beef or chicken broth
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 1 (25 oz) jar pasta sauce (I used Mezzetta roasted garlic sauce)
- 1 cup shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the sausage and break it up. Add in the mushrooms and the onion and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Break the spaghetti in half and lay it in a criss cross pattern in the pot. Evenly dump the pasta sauce over the top of the spaghetti.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 4 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5-10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Stir in half of the cheese. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and let it melt.
