Description

Easy Instant Pot or Crockpot meatloaf made with oatmeal instead of breadcrumbs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef (90/10)
  • 1 Tbsp dried onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp dried sage
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp sour cream
  • 1/4 cup quick oatmeal
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce

Instructions

Instant Pot Instructions:

  1. Pour 1 ½ cups water into bottom of Instant Pot.
  2. In a bowl add the beef, onion, parsley, salt, pepper, sage, ketchup, worcestershire, garlic powder, sour cream and oatmeal. Use clean hands to mix the mixture until combined.
  3. Spray an oven safe dish that fits inside your Instant Pot with non-stick cooking spray. Form the meat mixture into a loaf and place it into the pan. Place the pan on top of a sling and lower the sling into the Instant Pot.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 20 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
  5. Remove the pan and drain off excess liquid. Spread the chili sauce over the top of the meatloaf. Place the pan in the oven under the broiler for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Slice, serve and enjoy!
