Easy Instant Pot or Crockpot meatloaf made with oatmeal instead of breadcrumbs.

- 1 pound lean ground beef (90/10)
- 1 Tbsp dried onion
- 1 1/2 tsp parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp dried sage
- 1 1/2 Tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp sour cream
- 1/4 cup quick oatmeal
- 1/4 cup chili sauce
Instructions
Instant Pot Instructions:
- Pour 1 ½ cups water into bottom of Instant Pot.
- In a bowl add the beef, onion, parsley, salt, pepper, sage, ketchup, worcestershire, garlic powder, sour cream and oatmeal. Use clean hands to mix the mixture until combined.
- Spray an oven safe dish that fits inside your Instant Pot with non-stick cooking spray. Form the meat mixture into a loaf and place it into the pan. Place the pan on top of a sling and lower the sling into the Instant Pot.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 20 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Remove the pan and drain off excess liquid. Spread the chili sauce over the top of the meatloaf. Place the pan in the oven under the broiler for 2-3 minutes.
- Slice, serve and enjoy!
Slow Cooker Instructions:
- In a bowl add the beef, onion, parsley, salt, pepper, sage, ketchup, worcestershire, garlic powder, sour cream and oatmeal. Use clean hands to mix the mixture until combined.
- Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Form the meat mixture into a loaf and place it into the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours.
- Remove the lid. Spread the chili sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
- Slice, serve and enjoy!
