Description

A quick and easy smoked sausage and bean skillet (or slow cooker) dinner that comes together in only 20 minutes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 (12 oz) package beef smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 (15 oz) cans white cannelini beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

Stove top instructions:

  1. Heat a medium pan over medium heat. Add in the oil and swirl around. Add in the smoked sausage and brown on each side for 3 minutes. 
  2. Stir in the beans, dijon, worcestershire and barbecue sauce. 
  3. Heat through. Turn off heat.
  4. Serve and enjoy!

Slow Cooker Instructions:

  1. Add sausage, beans, dijon, worcestershire, barbecue sauce and a half cup of water or broth into the slow cooker. Stir. 
  2. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours. 
  3. Stir, serve and enjoy!
