Description

Easy oven-baked meatloaf made with ground beef, onion soup mix and a tangy barbecue glaze that turns out juicy and flavorful every time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef (I used 93/7)
  • 1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup finely diced onions
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350° F. Spray a pan with non-stick spray or line with parchment.
  2. Add all ingredient into a mixing bowl. Use clean hands to mix well to combine (don’t overmix).
  3. Form the meat into a loaf about 9 inches long and 3 inches tall.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes. Check temperature of the middle of the meatloaf, it should be at least 160° F.
  5. If desired, brush some extra barbecue sauce over the top of the meatloaf. Tent with foil. Let sit for 10 minutes. Slice and serve.
