Description
Pasta shells with smoked sausage and cheese make a delicious and fast Instant Pot meal that kids will love.
Ingredients

- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 (12 oz) package beef smoked sausage, sliced into quarter inch rounds
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1 (16 oz) package Barilla medium shells pasta
- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the butter and let it melt. Add in the sausage and brown it for 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Add in the ground mustard, paprika, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder and shells. Don’t stir.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 5 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5-10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Stir in the cheese and milk until cheese is melted.
- Serve and enjoy!
