Description
An easy Instant Pot pasta dish featuring savory Italian sausage, mushrooms, and macaroni simmered in crushed tomatoes and beef broth, finished with melty mozzarella and parmesan.

- 1 pound ground Italian sausage
- 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups beef broth
- 8 ounces macaroni
- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT Add in the sausage and break it up. Brown it for 4 minutes. Add in the mushrooms and cook for another 2 minutes. Drain off excess grease.
- Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Sprinkle in the macaroni. Dump the tomatoes evenly over the top of the pasta. Add in the butter, onion powder and garlic powder.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 4 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Stir well. Stir in the cheeses. Serve and enjoy!
