An easy and cheap 6 ingredient recipe of meat and potatoes. Make it fast in your Instant Pot.

  • 2 pounds Russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 3/4 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 (15.25 oz) can corn, drained
  • 1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles (optional)

  1. Pour 1 ½ cups of water into bottom of Instant Pot. Add potatoes to a steamer basket. Drop the steamer basket into the Instant Pot. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 4 minutes. When time is up move the valve to venting and remove the lid.
  2. Remove the steamer basket of potatoes and set aside. Discard the water and dry out the pot.
  3. Turn Instant Pot to sauté setting. When displays says HOT add in the ground beef and brown. Drain off excess grease. Stir in ¾ tsp of the seasoning salt.
  4. Gently stir in the potatoes, 1 tsp of seasoning salt, pepper, corn and green chiles.
  5. Scoop onto plates and serve. If desired serve with a little shredded cheese and ketchup on top.
