Description
An easy recipe of smoked sausage, onions and peppers. This recipe will allow you to make an easy meal without breaking the bank!

- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 (13 oz) package beef or turkey smoked sausage, sliced into quarter inch rounds
- 2 medium yellow onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 bell peppers, color or your choice
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to sauté setting. When displays says HOT add in the olive oil and swirl it around. Add in the sausage and lightly brown for 2 minutes. Then add in the onions and sauté for 2 more minutes.
- Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Dump in the peppers, garlic, Worcestershire and garlic salt.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 2 minutes. When time is up perform a quick release by moving the valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Stir in the tomato sauce. Sprinkle in more garlic salt to taste.
- Scoop over toasted hero rolls or hot cooked rice. Serve and enjoy!
