Description

Layers of egg noodles, cream cheese, chicken, red sauce and cheese. A family favorite!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 (12 oz) package egg noodles
  • 3 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup diced green onions
  • 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar

Instructions

  1. Add broth, egg noodles and chicken into Instant Pot.
  2. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 1 minute.
  3. While pot is coming to pressure get out a medium bowl and stir together softened cream cheese, sour cream and green onions. 
  4. In a separate bowl stir together tomato sauce, sugar, salt, pepper and garlic powder. 
  5. When Instant Pot is done move valve to venting and remove the lid. Stir contents of pot.
  6. Gently spread the cream cheese mixture over the top of the noodles.
  7. Then spread the tomato sauce over the top.
  8. Sprinkle the cheese on top.
  9. Place air fryer lid on top. Bake at 350° F for 7 minutes. 
  10. Use a spoon to dig deep to get all the layers. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

If you don’t have an air fryer lid you can do steps 1-5 in an Instant Pot and then layer in a 9×13 inch pan and bake in the oven at 350° F for 15 minutes.
