Description
Seasoned ground beef with cabbage, potatoes and a creamy sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground beef (I used 85/15)
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- Half of a small head of cabbage, cored and chopped
- 1 pound sliced red potatoes (slice about 1/4 inch thick)
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
Instant Pot Instructions:
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onion. Brown for about 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off saute setting.
- Add in the cabbage, then potatoes and finally the cream cheese, tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce. Don’t stir.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 2 minutes. When time is up move the valve to venting and remove the lid.
- Stir well. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve and enjoy!
Slow Cooker Instructions:
- Heat a pan over medium high heat. Add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onion. Brown for about 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic powder, salt and pepper. Add the mixture to the slow cooker.
- Stir in the broth, cabbage, potatoes, cream cheese, tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Stir well. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve and enjoy!
