Description

Seasoned ground beef, tender potatoes, and classic burger toppings like cheese, pickles and bacon are combined in the Instant Pot for a one-pot meal with all the flavors of a loaded cheeseburger.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 3/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 pound Russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 3 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp mustard
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles
  • 1/2 cup diced fresh tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup bacon crumbles

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onion. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the steak seasoning.
  2. Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot. 
  3. Evenly add in the potatoes. Dump in the ketchup and mustard and sprinkle the potatoes with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 3 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
  5. Gently stir in the mayo, cheese, pickles, tomatoes and bacon. 
  6. Serve and enjoy!
