Description

An easy Instant Pot pasta dish with seasoned ground beef, rigatoni, and a creamy tomato sauce topped with melted mozzarella and parmesan.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Dash of crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 6 oz rigatoni
  • 1 (15 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the diced onion. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the salt, pepper, garlic powder, italian seasoning and red pepper.
  2. Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
  3. Sprinkle in the rigatoni. Pour crushed tomatoes evenly over the pasta. Add in cream cheese.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set manual/pressure cook button to 3 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
  5. Stir. Sprinkle the cheese on top and let melt (I used air fryer lid to melt the cheesy quickly).
  6. Serve and enjoy!
