Description

An Instant Pot noodle dish with ground beef, sour cream, cheese and red sauce. A delicious, easy and fast dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 (12 oz) package egg noodles
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onion. Brown for about 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin and garlic powder.
  2. Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
  3. Sprinkle in the egg noodles evenly. Dump the marinara sauce evenly over the top of the noodles.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 1 minute. When time is up, move the valve to venting and remove the lid.
  5. Temper the sour cream by stirring a cup of the hot mixture into the sour cream. Stir the mixture into the pot. Sprinkle the cheese on top and let it melt.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
