Description

An easy Instant Pot dinner made with ground beef, noodles, tomatoes, and a parmesan finish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 3/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 3/4 cups beef broth
  • 8 oz Mrs. Miller's Old Fashioned Wide Egg Noodles (or elbow macaroni)
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can petite diced tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to sauté setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onions. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
  3. Layer the noodles on top. Dump the tomatoes and tomato sauce evenly over the noodles. Add in the cream cheese.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set manual/pressure cook button to 5 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
