Easy Recipe for Brownie Trifle with Toffee Bits

Ingredients

  • 1 brownie mix, prepared (I recommend the Ghiradelli brownie mix, or you can make a pan of homemade brownies)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 (3.2 oz) box chocolate mousse, prepared (I used this one)
  • 1 (3.9 oz) box instant chocolate pudding, prepared (I used this kind)
  • 1 (8 oz) bag Heath Bar Toffee Bits

Instructions

  1. After you have prepared the brownies, let them cool.  Once they are cooled cut them up into little
    chunks.
  2. In a large bowl whip cream until stiff peaks are just about to form. Beat in vanilla and sugar until peaks form. Make sure not to over-beat.
  3.  Using a large glass bowl (or an actual trifle bowl like this one) layer each of the ingredients three times: whipped cream, chocolate mousse, brownies, chocolate pudding, toffee bits.  I like to end with a little whipped cream and toffee bits on top.
  4.  Serve and enjoy!
