Description
An easy Instant Pot pasta with a pizza flare. This dish has ground beef, pepperoni, bell pepper, zesty tomato sauce, tender cavatappi and a sprinkling of parmesan cheese.

- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 2 tsp italian seasoning
- 2 1/2 cups beef broth
- 8 ounces cavatappi pasta
- 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste
- 3-4 ounces of pepperoni
- 1 green bell pepper, cored and diced
- Parmesan cheese, for topping
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onion and brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the salt and Italian seasoning.
- Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Sprinkle in the pasta. Dump tomato sauce and paste over the top of hte pasta. Add in the pepperoni and the bell pepper. Don’t stir.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set manual/pressure cook button to 4 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Stir well. Serve each individual serving with a bit of parmesan cheese on top.
