Description
A layer of biscuits topped with taco meat, tomatoes, jalapenos, sour cream and cheese.

- 1 (12 oz) package Pillsbury buttermilk biscuits
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
- Pinch of smoked paprika
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 cup fresh tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup pickled tame jalapenos
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place biscuits into the pan in a single layer and press them into the pan, joining them together and covering the bottom of the pan as best as you can. Bake for 12 minutes. The dough should be very light brown. Remove from the oven and set aside, leave the oven on.
- Heat a medium pan over medium high heat. Add in the ground beef and break it up. Brown for 5 minutes, drain off excess grease. Stir in the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder and paprika. Set aside.
- In a small bowl stir together the sour cream, mayo and garlic salt.
- On the top of the biscuit crust, layer the ingredients as follows: ground beef, tomatoes, jalapenos, sour cream mixture and finally the cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes. Slice and serve.
