Description
Seasoned ground beef and potatoes with cream cheese and colby jack made fast in the Instant Pot.

- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1/4 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 3/4 cup beef broth
- 4 medium Russet potatoes (about 1 1/2 pounds), peeled and cubed
- 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- Pinch of sugar
- 1/2 tsp hot sauce
- 2 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded Colby jack cheese
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to sauté setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onions and brown for about 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the rosemary, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper and basil.
- Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Add in the potatoes and sprinkle them with the Cajun seasoning. Dump the Worcestershire, tomato sauce, sugar, hot sauce and cream cheese on top.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 3 minutes. When time is up move valve to venting and remove the lid.
- Gently stir. Sprinkle the cheese on top and let it melt. Serve and enjoy!
