  • 5-Ingredient (or less) Recipes that use budget-friendly, grocery store staples to make shopping and cooking painless
  • Quick prep and clean up for added everyday ease when you’re tight on time
  • A guide to electric pressure cooking that compares appliances based on your needs, and provides a troubleshooting Q&A plus handy time charts for cooking food to perfection

The Electric Pressure Cooker Cookbook for Two

I just bought an Instant Pot Mini! Haven’t even taken it out of the box yet. Feeling a little intimidated by all the buttons!

Bought an Instant Pot – still not feeling comfortable enough to use it. Seems complicated. I used to use a pressure cooker frequently – but this ‘pressure cooker’/’instant pot’/’slow cooker is intimidating. Wish there was a video (a comprehensive, well done instructional video) that I could use to learn how to cook with this method. I already subscribe to the daily ‘instant pot’ recipes – looking for incentive/motivation to start using this new appliance.

Embrace it. These recipes tell you which function to use and when within the recipe. Maybe try with eggs or something simple to start. Go from there. It gets amazing really fast! Just follow the steps here.

Thank you for providing all your wonderful IP recipes and helpful ideas! Preparing meals in my IP saves me time and allows me to keep my house cooler during the hot summers in Arizona! We have been very pleased with every recipe I have made from this website.

    Karen:

Thanks so much for the drawing for the cookbooks. I’m on your site every day, sometimes once, sometimes numerous times. Love my slow-cooker, but really LOVE my new Instant Pot. Your recipes, are so detailed and “yummy”. The newbies will enjoy and the more advanced will find their recipes, also. Your time and effort is greatly appreciated in our behalf. I’ve already purchased a glass lid, a two stack rack, etc. Thank you again very much. Verna Anderson
