hi Karen, I found this website via your YouTube channel. I am loving all the versatile recipes you offer. I’ve spent the last couple of hours looking all over for a recipe that I can make in my Instant Pot. I want to make Kraft macaroni and cheese with ground beef all at once in the IP. Sometimes the fibromyalgia is bad, so I want to avoid frying the ground beef separately. Is this possible? Thanks for all the great recipes. I can’t wait to try out the Mr Fancy pants casserole!
So this is what I would do. I would turn the Instant Pot to the saute setting. Add in the ground beef and break it up. Brown for 5 minutes, drain off excess grease. Throw in a pinch of salt and pepper. Pour in 1 1/2 cups + 2 Tbsp of water into the pot. add in the noodles. Dump the can of tomatoes over the top of the noodles. Don’t stir. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 3 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid. Stir in the butter and milk (amounts on the back of the package) and the contents of the cheese packet. Stir until butter melts. Serve and enjoy
Hi Karen,
I have tried twice to send you an email to the email address above and it keeps rejecting it. I just received your Black Friday email for the half price pdf version of your cookbook. My question is this: Are the recipes in your e-book not available on your website?
I have a question about ‘keeping’ your recipes. I’ve been a follower for a really long time. I used to go to the print function and select the entire recipe and copy it, including the picture. then I would paste it into a Word document. That way I can make any changes that I need. But for a while now, when I do this, the picture does not show. It is just an empty box. Don’t know what has changed. Any help with this issue?
It’s been going on for months. Can’t seem to copy and paste any of the pictures for your recipes. I usually like to save the picture with the recipe. Don’t waste a ton of time looking into it. Just let the person who does your website know what is going on.
Karen,
My son, (young, single, working from home, not really comfortable in the kitchen), received a 3 quart slow cooker for Christmas. Any recipes in particular you can recommend for a 3 qt cooker to share with him?
I like this recipe because it calls for common ingredients…However, can it be frozen? I'm trying to find recipes that I can make before and freeze..I have friends coming to visit and don't want to spend all that time cooking!! Thanks ahead! Freeda

That is so strange. I am not sure why that happens now. I haven’t changed anything that I know of

Many thanks for any suggestions!

When I first started slow cooking I always used a 3 quart slow cooker. Sometimes I had to cut recipes in half. Here is a good resource of recipe ideas: https://www.365daysofcrockpot.com/100-slow-cooker-recipes-for-college/
Hi Karen,
Do you have any recipes for the instant pot for tilapia?
If not, can I use the ones that you have posted for salmon?
Thanks,
