Description
Cheesy orzo with smoked sausage and green beans made fast in the Instant Pot.
Ingredients

- 1 Tbsp butter
- 6 ounces smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 4 ounces orzo (about 3/4 cup)
- 1 cup fresh or frozen green beans
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 oz sharp shredded cheddar
- 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the butter and let it melt. Add in the sausage and brown for a couple minutes.
- Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Sprinkle in the orzo and green beans.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 1 minute. When time is up let pot sit for 5-10 minutes and then move the valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Stir in the milk and cheddar and dijon.
- Serve and enjoy!
