Scale
  • 3 pound chuck roast, trimmed of excess fat

  • 1 (1 oz) package Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing mix
  • 1 (.87 oz) package brown gravy mix
  • 1 (.70 oz) package Italian dressing mix
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

Instant Pot Instructions:

  1. Place roast and water into Instant Pot.
  2. In a bowls stir together the ranch mix, brown gravy mix and Italian dressing mix. Sprinkle it over the top of the roast.
  3. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 75 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 15-20 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.

  3. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until roast is tender.
  4. Place roast on a cutting board.
  5. Turn slow cooker to high setting. In a small bowl stir together the cornstarch and 3 tablespoons of water. Stir the slurry into the slow cooker. Let gravy thicken for about 10 minutes.
  6. Slice or shred roast and serve with gravy.
