Description

An easy pasta dinner that comes together in a snap with the help of your electric pressure cooker.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey (or lean ground beef)
  • 1 Tbsp dry onion
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 (24 oz) can spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (15.25 oz) can corn, drained (or 1 1/2 cups frozen corn)
  • 1/2 cup shredded pizza blend cheese

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the ground meat and break it up. Add in the dry onion, salt, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brown for about 5 minutes.
  2. Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
  3. Add in the bay leaf, Worcestershire, rotini, spaghetti sauce and corn. Don’t stir.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 2 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5-10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid. Discard the bay leaf.
  5. Stir. Sprinkle in the cheese and let melt. Serve and enjoy!
